Greenleaf Season 2

The final episode of the multi-part drama "Greenleaf", introducing the viewer to the problems of a fairly wealthy American family, will be shown only on August 31, 2016, but fans of the genre already want to know when the continuation will be released.

Official data on the release date of Season 2 has not yet been provided by the creators, represented by director Clement Virgo and representatives of the OWN channel. However, the success of the series and high ratings suggest that the project will be extended, but it will not appear on screens before the summer of 2017.

What to expect from Season 2

The plot centers around the Greenleaf clan, whose patriarch holds the position of bishop in a Protestant church. His wife has long realized that her husband's position can be used to build an excellent business, so she does not hesitate to make big money on people's faith. One of her daughters dies under mysterious circumstances, and the other, Grace, returns to her father's house because of this event. The father is extremely happy about this event, but the other Greenleafs clearly are not thrilled with the character of the sister who is unwilling to live by other people's rules and is ready to destroy all their plans for further deceiving the church parishioners. In the next season, Grace will once again face misunderstanding from her relatives and desperately try to defend her own opinion.

The drama premiered on June 21, 2016, and immediately caught the attention of viewers with the sharpness of the raised issues and the strong character of the main heroine. In total, Season 1 will consist of 13 episodes.
