Taken Season 2

The popular trilogy by Luc Besson, "Taken," has received a long-awaited continuation, only now in the format of a TV series. The premiere should appear on screens in early 2018, however, there is no more precise information yet.

The NBC channel, together with the studio "EuropaCorp," headed by the same Luc Besson, started creating the TV series several years ago. After broadcasting all the filmed episodes, a decision will be made on whether the project is actually successful and whether it is worth renewing it for a second season. If the answer is positive, new episodes can be expected presumably in early 2018.

What will be shown in the second season

The series is a prequel to the story about a CIA agent whose daughter was kidnapped for further sale into sexual slavery during a tourist trip. The plot covers the period preceding the events of the movie by about 25-30 years, when the main character, Bryan Mills, was just becoming a man adept at handling firearms and capable of tracing even the most cunning criminals. On the way of the brave law enforcer, he will encounter many dangerous people who want him dead, and the battle with them is not an easy task.

The number of episodes that the creators of the series will produce is not disclosed, however, it can be said with confidence that all of them will be filled with elaborate stunts, almost all of which were performed by the actors themselves without the participation of stuntmen.
