Brief plot of the show

The plot centers around a young man named Burkhard, who lives in Portland and works at the local police station. His life changes drastically when he learns that he is often the only living descendant of famous storytellers. He has long accepted that he must hunt down various unclean beings that have invaded his hometown. After the death of his aunt, he inherits a collection of ancient volumes written by his ancestors, as well as a solid arsenal of weapons. With the help of unique weaponry and the support of loyal allies, Nick deals with powerful witches, werewolves, and other monsters. He has defeated many villains and is preparing for the decisive battle with Sean Renard, the mayor of the district. He also does not forget about building romantic relationships. He is incredibly happy in marriage with the charming Adalind. The spouses raise their joint child. Their friends, Rosalee and Monroe, are also expecting a baby.

The key role was played by David Giuntoli, who participated in the TV series "Grey's Anatomy" and "Veronica Mars". His colleagues in the filming process were Bitsie Tulloch, who appeared in feature films "The Artist" and "Proof of Love", Russell Hornsby, known for the films "Meet the Parents" and "Fences", and other actors. The project was nominated for the Saturn Award.
