The First Channel released the TV series "The Hunt" on the air in mid-May. The film was made based on a famous American series that was aired in 2005. The audience highly appreciated the work of director Dmitry Brusnikin, noting that "The Hunt" is on par with the films of their American counterparts.

Alexandra was a police lieutenant colonel who had recently been transferred to the criminal investigation department of a seaside city. Here, she is given a leadership position, which is absolutely disliked by her seaside colleagues. She was surrounded mostly by men, so the dominance of a woman somewhat offended them. However, they expected that Alexandra would fail her first case because they did not believe in her professionalism. But the boss turned out to be a brilliant detective, as she was aptly called "The Huntress". She barely settled into the chief's office when she had to go investigate a crime. This would be a good opportunity for her to show her professional qualities to all her colleagues. But in any team, there is an envious person who constantly schemes. The criminal investigation department was no exception, where Alexandra is constantly involved in some intrigues.
