Zhurnaliugi Season 2

According to Sergey Varataev, the director of the Russian comedy TV series "Zhurnaliugi", Season 2 is expected to air in 2021.

The finale of the first part will take place in 2020 and will be broadcasted on "Perviy kanal" (Channel One). The focus of the events is on press representatives who are engaged in news production.

Each of them needs to work around the clock in order to achieve the best result and write an interesting article. In order to succeed, correspondents sometimes have to commit quite shameful actions, lie, be hypocritical, and present the public with unreliable information. The key characters also gained fame after deciding to deceive. They are not ashamed that they became famous thanks to fictional stories about the lives of celebrities. The guys got rich thanks to their own imagination and enjoy the status they have conquered. They are so used to lying that they themselves do not notice how far they have gone in their inventions. Once, the guys come up with another epic story that shocked the public and put an end to their further promotion in the service.

The main roles are played by: Alexey Bardukov, who became famous after the release of the films "Bride for Rent" and "Subway", Nikita Tarasov, who played in the films "Draft" and "Frontier", Anna Tsukanova-Kott, who participated in the series "Mermaids" and "Excellent Student", and other artists.

The creators plan to release the premiere episode in early 2018. There are 12 episodes produced. The enterprising heroes make a desperate attempt to clear their names by preparing reliable material about the machinations of a wealthy entrepreneur.
