The series was filmed in 2017. The director of this project, Sergey Korotaev, previously worked as an editor on the series "Motylki".

The two main characters of the series are unsuccessful colleagues who have chosen the difficult profession of journalism as their main activity. They don't succeed in serious publications. Their career, which has hardly begun, is already heading towards decline. That's when the guys decide to try themselves in the "yellow press." Where it is not so important to know how to write beautifully and interestingly, but rather important to search for sensational scandalous facts and know how to present them in the dirtiest way possible. Then the fees and high ratings won't take long to arrive. The guys have a talent for this kind of work, and they soon become famous in certain circles and financially independent. Such success goes to their heads, and the two masters of yellow journalism start suffering from star disease. Success and luck, as we know, are fickle, and soon people start forgetting about the guys, and their hot materials interest few. Realizing this, the guys don't intend to become despondent, they find material that sheds light on the illegal activities of a well-known businessman known to them.
