Kami-sama Hajimemashita release date
The Japanese anime series "Kami-sama Hajimemashita" by TMS Entertainment was first shown on October 1, 2012. The plot of the show is based on the manga by Julietta Suzuki, released by Hakusensha in September 2008.
The storyline of the animated series revolves around seventeen-year-old schoolgirl Nanami Momozono, who loses her home after her father loses a large sum of money and runs away. While wandering the streets, the girl meets a man in glasses who is cornered by a stray dog. Nanami saves him and tells her sad story. In gratitude, the man allows her to live in a shrine. There, the demon fox Tomoe Mikage gives the girl a "card," which makes Momozono the new Earth Deity of the shrine. A love grows between the demon Tomoe and Nanami, as she is the reincarnation of Mikage's former lover. Throughout the first season, the girl, now the "Earth Deity," tries to free Tomoe from a curse, so the Council of Gods regularly presents her with new challenges. As the plot develops, Momozono is given the opportunity to travel back in time 500 years to get to know her guardian better.
