Knightfall Season 2

Douglas Mackinnon, executive producer and director of the historical series "Knightfall," has announced that Season 2 of the drama is scheduled for release in March 2019.

The premiere of the final episode is scheduled for February 2018 and will take place on the television channel "History". This story is dedicated to knightly exploits and failures. The action unfolds in the 14th century.

It is the year 1307. The powerful of this world issue a cruel order according to which the Templars are subjected to persecution. They were pursued and, once caught, mercilessly burned in front of a gathered crowd. The key character is Sir Landry, who is bewildered by another failed operation. As the leader of the brotherhood, he was obliged to do everything in his power to try to protect the community and ensure victory in the Holy Land. The young man learns that the Holy Grail is being proclaimed again. This relic was supposed to be guarded by the Templar knights. At that time, they were highly respected and considered members of one of the most powerful and influential organizations. They worked diligently to maintain peace in the state and protect the ancient object from sinister forces. They included true Christians who deeply believed in God and honored traditions. They had many supporters, but even more relentless enemies.
