The series will not just tell about the sadistic inclinations of the bloody baroness, but will also try to show the audience the prehistory of this woman. Who was she in her youth and why did her character deteriorate so much? Little Dasha was seven years old when her mother died. Her father did not love the girl, so when she reached adolescence, he sent Daria to a monastery. After that, she became withdrawn. The pious Saltikova married, but became a widow at an early age. After enduring suffering, her true serial killer nature was revealed. The victims of Saltikha were mostly girls and women. Apparently, she was seeking revenge for her lost childhood. Her methods included starving, leaving them in the cold, and torturing them. The number of her victims fluctuated between fifty and two hundred. Meanwhile, Daria was engaged in charity work and visited holy places. Soon after Catherine the Second ascended to the throne, the police were informed of her cruelty. She was sentenced to more than thirty years of imprisonment, where Saltikova died.
