The Last Ship Season 5

Andrew Form, executive producer of the American science fiction thriller "The Last Ship", assured fans that the 5th season of the series will be available to watch in the summer of 2018.

The final of the 4th part will take place in the autumn of 2017 and will be broadcast on the television channel "TNT". This drama is based on the eponymous work of the foreign writer William Brinkley.

What will happen in the 5th season

Humanity is in mortal danger. The planet has been hit by a terrible epidemic. The crew of a ship called "Nathan James" is able to save the people of Earth. The team members were not affected by the dangerous virus because they were at sea at that time, performing their assigned tasks. The number of infected people increases every day. Scientists are working on developing a vaccine that can cure the survivors, but they have not achieved significant results. Panic starts on the destroyer. Only an experienced sailor named Tom Chandler can calm the team down and instill belief in a bright future. Subordinates respect the captain for his fearlessness and uncompromising decision-making. However, even he can't fully control the situation and prevent a mutiny. Meanwhile, a group of researchers is working on board. Among them is a nice microbiologist named Rachel, who is not afraid to assert her character and fight alongside men. Soon, the woman realizes that she ended up here by no means accidentally.

The key roles were played by Adam Baldwin, who starred in the films "Full Metal Jacket" and "Vision Quest", Eric Dane, who participated in the projects "Charmed" and "Grey's Anatomy", Charles Parnell, who appeared in the feature films "This Christmas" and "Stuck on You", and other actors.

The premiere episode was shown to the audience on June 22, 2014. A total of 46 episodes have been filmed. The focus of the plot is brave people making attempts to save the human race from complete destruction.
