Lethal Weapon Season 2

The criminal drama "Lethal Weapon", telling the story of two disparate police officers from one of the most dangerous states in the USA - Texas, will premiere on screens on September 21, 2016.

The project was directed by McG, operating under the guidance of the FOX channel and the Warner Bros. Television and Good Session studios. There is no precise information about the filming of the 2nd season yet, but if the multi-part action film is as successful as the original movie, the sequel will definitely be released closer to the fall of 2017.

What to expect in the second season

The action takes place in restless Los Angeles. Young Texas policeman Martin Riggs, who tragically lost his beloved wife and their daughter, is too long recovering from the moral trauma. In order to forget and distract himself, he heads to Los Angeles to continue his service. Martin is partnered with African-American Rogers, who also has difficulties in life - he recently had a heart attack and now should not burden his heart with stress and worries. But is it possible to realize this while being next to such an unpredictable person as Martin?

It is noteworthy that initially the FOX channel wanted to borrow only the main characters from the eponymous movie, but later decided to keep the proven characters and transfer all the filmed parts of the "Lethal Weapon" to the series.
