The American TV channel FOX will soon begin broadcasting a new series, the first episodes of which can be seen as early as 2016. The presented project of American cinema was made, taking the plot of the television show from the eponymous film with Mel Gibson and Danny Glover in the lead roles.

The central figures in this picture are several patrol police officers. The storyline is based on the narration of the lives of two police detectives of the city of Angels, who are partners. One of the main characters is Riggs Martin. The man is going through a difficult time. He recently buried his pregnant wife, who died because of a drunk driver. The man can no longer stay in the apartment and in the city as a whole, where all this happened. He decides to change his city of residence and housing, in order to distract himself a little and forget about his grief. Martin moved to the state of California and soon begins to work in the police according to his main specialty. On his new job, the hero is assigned to a professional cop - Murtaugh. The not-so-young operative has long been fed up with service, as he will soon retire. Next to his new partner, he starts to feel young and spirited, only his heart sometimes lets him down. Tense relations arise between Murtaugh and Martin from the first day at work. They understand that they will not be able to work together for long, but when they open up to each other, everything changes. Partners become good comrades and an invincible weapon against the city's criminal system.
