On the 1 plus 1 channel, a new situational comedy "The Best Week of My Life" started in the fall of 2016. The show became so popular among viewers of the Ukrainian TV channel that the project director and "1+1 production" plan to continue it in the near future.
This TV series is an adaptation of the franchise "The Worst Week of My Life," which was broadcast on British and American television in 2004 and 2008, respectively. In the original, the show had two seasons and three Christmas specials. This means that if the TV series is successful in Ukraine, the "1+1" channel will film a continuation based on the existing script. Naturally, we will have to wait for the second season of the sitcom "The Best Week of My Life" until the fall of 2017.
What will happen in the second season
After the newlyweds Igor and Olga experienced problems in their relationship with the bride's parents, the chaos does not end. It is quite possible that viewers will also get acquainted with the groom's family. Naturally, this will cause no shortage of humorous situations in the communication between the parents of the couple.
The plot of the TV series focuses on the relationships between the older generation and the future spouses of their children, as well as the difficulties of accepting change. The first season of the show told the story of one week in the life of Olga and Igor, who planned to get married and decided to live together with their parents before the wedding. At first, a normal situation turned into a series of misunderstandings and conflicts, as the bride's father believed that his daughter deserved better. Only by a miracle did the couple manage to maintain their own relationship and not succumb to provocations from the bride's relatives.
The TV series "The Best Week of My Life" was directed by Semyon Gorov, who recently created the "successful" project "The Last Moskal". The first season of the comedy show consisted of only eight episodes.
