Lost in Space Season 2

Matt Sazama, the creator of the fantastic TV series "Lost in Space", has revealed that the premiere of season 2 will take place in mid-2019.

Netflix has announced that the final episode of the first part will be aired in the spring of 2018. This story is based on the show of the same name that was released in 1965.

What will happen in Season 2, plot spoilers

The action takes place in the near future. The central characters of the narrative are the members of the wonderful Robinson family. The married couple is raising three children of different ages. After it became obvious that the ecological situation on the planet is deteriorating every day, humanity began to search for a new place to live. The outstanding explorer, Joy, together with close relatives, sets off on a journey through the expanses of the Universe with the aim of colonizing Alpha-Prime. They must explore the territories and prepare them for further settlement. However, the spacecraft carrying the main characters crashes. The children have to evacuate urgently. In this way, they find themselves in a mysterious area. The head of the family knows that he will not be able to fix the transport vehicle on his own, so he tries to contact Earth. However, he is unable to establish contact with his compatriots, so he is forced to find other ways of survival.

The following artists took part in the series: Toby Stevens, star of the films "Believe" and "Strangers", Molly Parker, who starred in the movies "Little Crimes" and "Darwin", Max Jenkins, who appeared in the projects "The Affair" and "The 8th Sense", and some others.

The premiere is scheduled for May 2018. There will be 10 episodes. The ship on which the key characters were flying suddenly malfunctions.
