Chuck Lorre, the executive producer of the TV series "Young Sheldon," announced some joyful news that the start of the 3rd season will take place in the fall of 2019.

The final episode of the second season is expected to air on the CBS channel in the spring of 2019. The captivating story is a prequel to the exciting TV show called "The Big Bang Theory".

The central character of the narrative is a charismatic boy who stands out from his clumsy peers. He is obsessed with the idea of making a global scientific discovery and building a successful career in his chosen field. Despite his young age, he possesses excessive self-confidence and does not doubt that his coveted dream will come true. The ambitious lad does not seek to befriend foolish schoolmates, preferring to devote his time to science. His position is completely misunderstood by his concerned relatives. His mother is a deeply religious person and often attends church, praying for the well-being of the family. The father, in the recent past, was an outstanding coach and taught kids football. Now, the man sits constantly on the couch with a beer mug in his hands and watches boring TV programs. Their intellectually advanced offspring does not rush to share the relatives' hobbies. This is why unpleasant disagreements often occur between the key character and his loved ones. The kids are not willing to patiently listen to each other and communicate.

The following artists are involved in the project: Ian Armitage, the star of the films "Glass Castle" and "I'm Not Here", Reagan Revord, who appeared in the series "With Bob and David" and "Teachers", Zoe Perry, who played in the TV shows "Conviction" and "My Team", and some others.

The premiere was shown on September 25, 2017. There are 44 episodes produced. The script revolves around a hardworking teenager dreaming of becoming a great personality.
