In the fall of 2016, a new multi-series comedy "The Best Week of My Life" will start on the 1+1 channel, directed by Semyon Gorov, who recently had a successful project "The Last Moskal". The show is an adaptation of the television series "The Worst Week of My Life," which aired on English television in 2004.

The script of the TV show revolves around newlyweds Olga and Igor, who are about to seal their relationship with the bonds of marriage. A week before this joyful event, they move in with the bride's parents, unaware of any wrongdoing in their actions. But these seven days become a real mess - it turns out that the groom does not like his future father-in-law at all. The general, with a huge service record and a magnificent house, does not want his daughter to marry an ordinary confectioner. Therefore, for Igor to please his newly acquired parents, he will have to go to great lengths. But unfortunately, all his attempts are in vain and, on the contrary, lead to the opposite result. In one week of cohabitation with the future relatives, so many comedic and absurd situations will occur that many would last a lifetime... Can a simple guy, Igor, marry Olga?
