Luke Cage release date
The media service Netflix will release a fantastic series called "Luke Cage" on September 30, 2016. The creation of this new project is done by ABC Studios and Marvel Television, based on comics. The predecessor of the project is the comic book "Jessica Jones."
The series' plot revolves around an African-American man named Luke Cage from New York. He used to be a member of a gang in Hell's Kitchen but receives a prison sentence after being framed by an old friend. Innocent of the crime he was accused of, he prepares a plan of revenge against his offender. The main character, brutally beaten by guards and left nearly dead, is used as a guinea pig in a medical experiment. Something goes wrong, and the initial dosage of the substance is increased, leading to Luke's mutation. He gains superhuman strength and an impenetrable skin, which helps him to escape from prison. After his release, Cage seeks vengeance against Willie Stryker, a former childhood friend who sent him to prison due to his love for Reva Connors. Furthermore, he turns to the other side of the law and uses his abilities as a means of earning money instead of committing crimes. In Hell's Kitchen, Cage becomes known as a hired superhero, solving issues with criminals for a small fee.
