Luke Cage Season 2

About the release of Season 2 on the streaming service Netflix, the creators of the film, the film studios "ABC Studios" and "Marvel Television," announced in December 2016. Filming for the sequel will begin in June 2017 and will continue until March 2018. The new episodes of the show will appear on screens no earlier than the spring of 2018. The main character, superhero Luke Cage, was treacherously set up by his former friend Striker and is now forced to serve a prison sentence for drug dealing. In prison, he is offered to participate in a quite risky experiment, to which the desperate guy easily agrees. As a result of the failed attempt, Luke acquires supernatural abilities and escapes from prison. Now he intends to deal with his tormentor and at the same time earn a living by becoming a hired superhero. As the plot unfolds, it becomes clear that the character has many enemies, and he himself is not as positive as he seemed at the beginning.

For Season 1, 13 episodes were filmed, full of dangerous adventures of the dark-skinned strongman and his constant clashes with the fierce enemy Striker. In the event of a continuation, there are all reasons to expect no fewer episodes in Season 2.
