Westworld release date

At the end of 2016, the cable TV channel HBO will premiere the series "Westworld". The new sci-fi trailer is an adaptation of the film of the same name, directed by Michael Crichton in the distant year of 1973.

The plot takes place in the distant future, when the level of robotics development reaches its peak and humanity is capable of creating drones that fully resemble human appearance and behavior. The new technologies have also given civilization another leap in the development of the entertainment industry. Westworld, Roman World, and Medieval World are the largest theme parks in the world, fully populated by robots. The first mentioned attraction is located on the remains of the United States' wilderness and simulates the times of the Wild West. For just one thousand dollars a day, tourists can feel like time travelers, and the robot slaves will fulfill any requests for them. But one day, the computer program that controls the android network malfunctions, and the obedient servants transform into killing machines. The people who find themselves trapped in the amusement park embark on a journey of survival and struggle against the rampaging technology.
