MacGyver release date

In 2016, the CBS channel released a remake of the quite famous in the States series "MacGyver," which was broadcasted in the 80s. The title has shortened a bit, but the idea has remained the same.

Angus MacGyver is a young scientist-psychologist with deep knowledge in all natural sciences. He is an optimistic guy who believes that there is a way out of any hopeless situation, and his sharp mind will easily help him find it. Additionally, he is an ardent pacifist and completely rejects violence. His entire equipment consists of a paperclip, chewing gum, and brilliant intellect. Being only a twenty-year-old guy, Angus manages to create a secret organization within the US government agencies, which deals with solving cold cases and saving people. Angus and his partner Jack Dalton have to uncover many crimes that other government agencies have given up on. Their desks are constantly filled with folders with profiles of dangerous criminals. Many seemingly impossible tasks are easily accomplished by MacGyver and his team, all thanks to his extraordinary resourcefulness. He is so good at inventing various mechanisms that he doesn't even need weapons on the mission. Creating a bomb from available resources or launching a small rocket into the sky is no trouble for Angus at all.
