The Grand Tour release date
The new car show "The Grand Tour" from the media service Amazon Prime will debut on November 18, 2016. This program appeared as a spin-off from the already quite familiar "Top Gear" after a scandal and a fight involving one of the main presenters, Jeremy Clarkson. In March 2015, BBC management made the decision to fire him. But along with him, one of the most popular car shows lost the remaining journalists from the most famous trio. After a short time, they decided to launch their own program, which they named "The Grand Tour" or simply GT.
The hosts Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson, and James May will introduce viewers to the latest cars of the world, conduct extreme test drives, and travel to corners of the world where it is sometimes impossible to walk. Together, they host the TV show in several directions: showcase the latest innovations of the leading car industry, invite celebrities to test drive budget cars, and lead the main line around the theme of the episode. The hosts invite the audience into the studio and record their dialogues almost live. The three friends will tour four continents, where they will experience crazy adventures. Naturally, the entire theme will revolve around new powerful and used legendary cars, whose capabilities the hosts of The Grand Tour will push to the limit. Dozens of pairs of burned rubber, funny and comedic moments, as well as facts about new cars that you didn't suspect - that's the main concept of the show. The show is initially planned for three seasons with 12 episodes each, which will be shown every week on Fridays starting from November 18, 2016.
