The production of the show was officially ordered on January 23, 2016. The filming process of the first season began on January 15, 2017. The project's screenwriter is Somerville Patrick, and the director is Cary Fukunaga (author of projects like "True Detective" and "Beasts of No Nation").

The plotline tells the story of Espen - he is just over 30 years old, living a full life, communicating with a friend named Håkon. Every day for him is a constant feast of emotions, he is lucky and loved. However, this entire life is confined to the hero's subconscious, in reality, he is in a psychiatric hospital. Who can shatter all the carefully constructed illusions of Espen? With the appearance of a new female doctor, Espen increasingly begins to "come out" of his internal world into the world that actually surrounds him. A young hospital employee, interested in the hero's case, tries to understand why such metamorphoses occur with the patient and whether it is possible for him to be cured of his ailment. The series intrigues with comedic episodes and very impressive performances by the actors, as in his illusions Espen appears before the audience in different guises - an heir to an impressive fortune, a gangster, a fearless cowboy, a true sports record holder, etc. At the same time, he always attracts the attention of the most beautiful women and is known as an excellent lover. It is interesting to see which story will ultimately become the main one in his life.

Main cast: Jonah Hill ("The Wolf of Wall Street", "21 Jump Street"), Emma Stone ("La La Land", "Zombieland"). The actors first worked together on the set of the movie "Superbad".
