McMafia Season 2

A representative of the film company Cuba Pictures has announced that the second season of the crime drama “McMafia” will be shown in the middle of 2019.

The final of the 1st season was broadcasted on the "BBC" and "AMC" channels in February 2018. The main character is a charming young man from Russia.

The protagonist was born into a Russian family but moved to the UK for permanent residence. He received a prestigious education and was able to successfully create his own foundation. Things were going well in the company until the closest relatives encountered major problems. Alex's father led a criminal group and crossed influential individuals. The son of a criminal authority categorically did not want to have anything to do with illegal activities and sought to build an excellent career in the financial industry. He didn't reject his roots but tried to stay away from gangland disputes. The ambitious young man attended various social gatherings and interacted with influential people capable of helping expand the business. He planned to marry an attractive bride and have wonderful heirs. Due to family troubles, he was forced to forget about his personal dreams and focus on resolving the conflict with dangerous individuals. Otherwise, his loved ones would face many unpleasant moments.

The main roles were played by: James Norton, who appeared in feature films "Angelique" and "Vikings", Juliet Rylance, who participated in the films "Animal" and "A Dog's Purpose", Merab Ninidze, noticed in the TV series "Last Witnesses" and "Mermaids", and other artists.

The premiere started on January 1, 2018. 8 episodes were released. The plot revolves around an immigrant from Russia who unwillingly gets involved with drug dealers and smugglers.
