Orange Is the New Black Season 5

The 4th season of the comedy project "Orange is the New Black" finished on June 17, 2016. Fans of the series are already ready to embrace a new portion of American humor, so they are eagerly awaiting the continuation.

The creators of the TV series, Netflix channel, and director Andrew McCarthy have started filming Season 5 and have announced that its premiere should be expected closer to the middle of the summer of 2017.

What will happen in Season 5

The show depicts a difficult situation in which an average American resident, Piper, finds herself as a result of circumstances. Many years ago, she had feelings for a girl who organized drug smuggling and helped her transport a large sum of illegally obtained money. Now, the police have learned about this scheme, and Piper has been sentenced to a year and a half of imprisonment. It would be one thing, but the girl had no previous criminal history, so life in a women's prison is a real hell for her. The next season will show how the main character learns to survive in prison conditions and adapts to her new environment.

Immediately, 13 premiere episodes of Season 1 were shown to viewers on July 11, 2013. The number of episodes remains the same from season to season, only the dose of humor and fun moments increases.
