The final episode of the dramatic thriller "Queen of the South" will only be shown on September 15, 2016, but fans already want to know if their favorite series will have a continuation.
While no official statements have been made regarding the second season of the USA Network, high ratings and numerous positive reviews from critics allow us to assert that the film directed by Dave Rodriguez will be extended for another season and will be released in the summer of 2017.
What will happen in the 2nd season
In the plot of the film, Teresa is a once happy girl of a small Mexican drug dealer, whom his own accomplices kill out of greed. Now the young woman is forced to leave the Latin American country in order to avoid the fate of her lover. Arriving in Spain, Teresa decides to organize her own illegal business with narcotics and overthrow the head of the drug cartel her boyfriend belonged to. With her determination and luck, the young woman succeeds, and now she is the queen of drug trafficking. Only thoughts of revenge for her slain love do not leave her alone.
The first episode of the dramatic action film was released on June 23, 2016. A total of 13 episodes will be shown, full of intrigue, betrayal, passion, and unexpected twists.
