Ostrov release date

In 2016, TNT channel plans to broadcast the series "Ostrov" (The Island), the shooting process of which was completed on September 1, 2015. Viewers can anticipate a total of 24 episodes of the show that will blow your mind!

The plot of the series revolves around the eponymous reality show created by the channel. The project involves 8 people who try to fight for survival on an exotic uninhabited piece of land in the ocean. In reality, however, the yacht on which the filming crew is located sails away from the specified island and mysteriously explodes - the participants are left alone with nature. Of course, no one even suspects that no one can rescue them from the abandoned place, and they are being filmed by hidden cameras installed throughout the territory. Communication with civilization is cut off, and four guys and four girls try to win in the TV show that no longer exists. See what comes out of this in the first season of the project.

The filming process took place on a real uninhabited island. The entire filming crew was transported there from Moscow. Material for 24 episodes of the first season was shot over three months in the summer of 2015. Post-production, including editing and video processing, began in the fall.
