The Star Media film studio has announced that the start of the 2nd season of the domestic project "Paternal Shore" is scheduled for the second half of 2018.

The final episode of Season 1 was broadcast on the "First Channel" in the autumn of 2017. The story is dedicated to the difficult life challenges that close relatives had to overcome.

The central characters of the drama are members of a large family, in which the internal climate is not always favorable. Despite differences in opinions, they try to avoid grand scandals, but they always manage to sidestep slippery subjects in conversations. Each person defends their own point of view and does not want to give in to their relatives. With the onset of military operations, each of them chose their own path. Daria married a sullen and perpetually dissatisfied guy. When she realized that she was pregnant, she started preparing for motherhood. The girl sincerely believed that with the birth of a child, the situation would change and her husband would feel warmer towards her. However, after a short absence, she returns home not with one, but with two children. The young woman hides a big secret from her partner and is afraid that the truth will eventually come to light. Hoping to avoid unpleasant consequences, the heroine does everything in her power not to reveal the terrible secret.

The main roles were played by: Yuri Borisov, who appeared in feature films "Redemption" and "Road to Berlin", Alina Larina, star of the TV series "Climber" and "Prince of Siberia", Alexey Kravchenko, involved in the films "Days of Hope" and "Boomerang", and other actors.

The premiere took place on September 11, 2017. There are 16 episodes. The key characters are related to each other and try to maintain peace in a huge family.
