Outcast release date

Starting from June 3, 2016, a new TV series called "Outcast" will air on the US channel Cinemax. The script for the show was written by Robert Kirkman, whom many know from the popular TV show and comic series "The Walking Dead". The plot is based on the eponymous comic book released in 2014.

The series revolves around Kyle Barnes, who has had supernatural abilities since childhood, the existence of which he cannot explain. He discovered his gift in childhood when his own mother used to beat him. As he grew up, he realized that he could exorcise demons from people, although he himself does not fully believe in their existence. Together with Reverend Anderson, they begin to investigate the events happening in the town of Rome, located in the western part of Virginia. One by one, they cleanse children and people who have been possessed by demons with the help of Kyle's abilities. Meanwhile, Barnes tries to figure out why the forces of evil are so interested in him, causing fear in those who see him. In the end, together with the priest, they uncover a conspiracy in which Kyle plays a central role. If they don't stop the evil, it is highly likely that an apocalypse will begin in the world.
