Stepnye volki Season 2

On June 3, 2016, the current 1st season of the project "Stepnye volki" ended, gathering millions of fans of domestic crime dramas in front of their screens. Immediately, there were questions about when the continuation of the beloved film will be released.

The premiere of the 2nd season is planned for May 2017, however, the exact date has not been announced by the creators of the series, NTV channel, Forward-Film studio, and Center for Film Production. The directors will be Dmitry Matov and Evgeny Sologalov.

What will happen in the 2nd season

The main action takes place in the town of Stepnye Kurgany, where a young operative Andrei Dymov is sent with his wife, Katya. Soon, the couple discovers that the local criminal group, led by the Volkov family, controls everything here and they do not tolerate overly curious guests. In order to achieve his goal, the investigator has to take into account the opinions of the criminals, but he does not give up the thoughts of destroying this mafia chain. And when the plan is almost ready, Andrei's wife starts an affair with Volkov's son.

The premiere of the 1st season, consisting of 24 episodes, took place on May 25, 2016. The series became so popular that its creators could not help but start working on a successful sequel.
