On June 12, the first episode of the comedy series "Still the King" was shown on the SMT channel. The script was developed by Doug Manley and Travis Nicholson. The director was appointed John Poll.

Actor Billy Ray Cyrus played the country music performer Vernon Brown. The man's career has never been successful. However, in recent years, alcohol and scandals have ruined his career. One day, Vernon decided that it was time to rise to a new level in show business. Vernon's path lies in Nevada, where he intends to embody the image of the iconic personality, Elvis Presley, better than anyone else. However, the hopes of the main character are not meant to be fulfilled. Once again, after drinking, he crashes his car into the Lafkin church. Now Vernon faces the prospect of performing community service. The main character decides to convince the townspeople that he is the new pastor of the parish, whom he has harmed. Even his own prank, the resourceful man finds a simple and convincing explanation for. Vernon starts to convince everyone around him that he took the risk of appearing before the parishioners in such an unexpected way to test their faith. Will he succeed in imposing a bold lie on those around him, or will he have to spend time working for the benefit of society?
