Still the King Season 2

The current season of the TV show will finish on the screens on August 21, 2016, gaining a whole army of fans of American humor who are eager for the continuation of the series.

According to the official statement of the creators of the film, studio "Hideout Pictures" and the channel SMT, the filming of the second season has already begun, and the premiere of new episodes will take place on June 4, 2017. Directors John Poll and Tamara Davis will continue to work on the project.

What will happen in the second season

The film focuses on a loser named Vernon, who was fairly successful at country parties two decades ago. Today, he is a troublemaker and an alcoholic who has decided to change his life overnight and pursue a musical career again. This time, his plan is to conquer Nevada in the guise of the new Elvis Presley. However, this idea was not meant to come true: during another drunken spree, Vernon crashes his car into a church, and as a result, he will be punished with hours of community service. But the sober-minded musician comes up with an amusing adventure to pretend to be a new pastor and thus avoid justice. In the second season of the comedy, the main character embarks on new adventures, still cherishing his dream of becoming the second King of pop music.

The series premiered on the big screens on June 12, 2016. A total of 13 full episodes of humor and unpredictable jokes will be shown.
