The Alienist Season 2

The final episode will air on the television channel "TNT" at the end of 2017. The suspenseful TV series is based on the eponymous work of the outstanding writer Caleb Carr.

What will happen in the 2nd season

The events take place in the 19th century in the American city of New York. It is the year 1896, which is remembered by the local population for a series of high-profile murders. An unknown person ruthlessly deals with underage children. The older generation has become afraid to let their offspring out onto the restless streets, as the maniac has not yet been found, and his crimes have become increasingly cruel and sophisticated. The law enforcement officers undertaking the investigation of these monstrous incidents cannot even come up with a list of suspects. But they have no doubt that the criminal is a mentally unstable person capable of senseless actions. Real professionals in their field take up the task of identifying his name. An experienced investigator, a determined journalist, and a highly qualified psychologist specializing in mental pathologies join forces to imprison the criminal.

The main roles are played by Martin McCrudy, who appeared in the films "Legend" and "Five", Dakota Fanning, the star of the films "Dreamer" and "Charlotte's Web", Daniel Brühl, who appeared in the films "Inglourious Basterds" and "The God Particle", and other artists.

The premiere is scheduled for the second half of 2017. A total of 10 episodes have been filmed. The script tells the story of the crimes of an elusive serial killer, which the great minds of that time have taken on to solve.
