The Chi Season 3

Derek Dudley, executive producer of the TV series "Chi", has revealed that the 3rd season is planned to be released in the first half of 2020.

The final episode of Part 2 was shown on the "SHOWTIME" channel in April 2019. It revolves around the residents of poor Chicago neighborhoods.

What awaits viewers in Season 3

The main characters of the project are young African Americans who keenly feel racial inequality. They make persistent efforts to adapt to the living conditions and achieve great heights. Each of them has personal difficulties and insurmountable obstacles. The heroes include not only representatives of the adult generation, but also underage schoolchildren. They attend an educational institution and dream of radical changes. The kids hope to escape poverty and earn public respect. One of the key characters is a boy named Alex, who has not known a normal childhood. He works desperately to provide his family with food. Despite his unfavorable circumstances, the charismatic teenager does not despair and makes ambitious plans for the future. He easily makes friends and tries to spend a little of his precious time on them. The black schoolboy has an energetic character and tries to find his own path.

The main roles are played by: Jason Mitchell, who starred in the films "Tyler" and "Barry"; Yolanda Ross, who participated in the films "Meadowland" and "Lila and Eve"; Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, who appeared in the series "State of Affairs" and "Siren," and other artists.

The premiere took place on January 7, 2018. There are 20 episodes. The plot revolves around a young black man and his work routine. Special attention is paid to his studies in the local school.
