The film company TBS Productions Inc. announced that the release of the 4th season of the comedy TV series "The Detour" is scheduled for the beginning of 2019.

The couple had long planned to go on vacation, and finally their wish comes true. However, instead of a comfortable flight to the final destination, they have to use a car. The husband explains this by wanting to spend more time with their beloved relatives. The key characters have two mischievous offspring. The children are not enthusiastic about the idea of ​​traveling by car, so they occasionally do foolish things. For example, they ask strangers to save them from kidnappers. The main characters get involved in various adventures. They confuse a nightclub with a regular restaurant, meet a strange old man obsessed with the idea of ​​marrying an underage Russian girl. But the real shock for Nate is the news that his chosen one is a marriage scammer.

The main roles are played by: Jason Jones, who participated in the films "Pink Water" and "Perfect Voice", Daniella Pineda, who appeared in the series "The Originals" and "American Odyssey", Natalie Zea, the star of the projects "Followers" and "In Plain Sight", and other artists.
