The TV series "House" is an American production directed by David Shore. The main role is played by Freddie Highmore ("August Rush," "Bates Motel"). "The Good Doctor" is a medical drama, which is an analog of the South Korean series with the same name from 2013.

The narrative tells the story of the life of a very young and incredibly talented surgeon named Shaun Murphy. He had a difficult childhood, the loss of a loved one, and constant anxieties. At some point, Shaun is diagnosed with autism as well as savant syndrome. But it is precisely after going to specialized educational institution that the boy's incredible mental abilities are revealed. He is a true genius in several scientific fields, while also having unique memory abilities and thoroughly studying the human body, developing his sensitivity to possible deviations or manifestations of diseases in other people. Despite obstacles, Shaun becomes a top-notch surgeon, but his personal development is comparable to that of a ten-year-old child. He faces numerous challenges, as he manages to get a job at a very well-known pediatric division in San Jose, California, at the San Bonaventura Hospital. The young doctor strives every day for the lives of his patients, despite the skepticism and malice of his colleagues. Along this difficult path, his best friend and mentor named Aaron helps him.
