El Chapo Season 3

The film company Univision Studios, which produces the international project "El Chapo", has planned to release the 3rd part of the series in September 2018.

The final episode of the second season was shown at the end of autumn, 2017. The broadcast takes place on the television channel "Univision". The authors of the drama tell an fascinating biographical story about an outstanding person who was able to overcome themselves and succeed, albeit not by entirely legal means.

Joakim from an early age was forced to rely only on his own abilities, not counting on close relatives. He lived in poverty but wanted a better life for himself. His not-so-rich parents made him help them plow the land so that the family had something to buy food with. But this kind of work did not attract an ambitious young man at all, so he decided to go down a slippery path and became involved in criminal business. He began transporting narcotics from one country to another, and he was brilliantly successful at it. The young man quickly learned all the rules of the drug trade and soon dared to expand his business. In record time, he became one of the most authoritative figures in the Mexican criminal world. His opinion was respected, and no one dared to stand in his way, fearing cruel retribution. Various special services began hunting him, dreaming of seeing El Chapo behind bars.

The key roles were played by Humberto Bustos, a star of the films "Happy Times" and "Similar", Alejandro Aguilar, who appeared in feature films "Prisoners" and "180 seconds", Marco De La O, who participated in the TV series "The She-Wolf" and "Salome's Passions" and other actors.

The premiere started on April 23, 2017. A total of 18 episodes were filmed. The main character is a famous drug lord who managed to become a notable figure not only in his homeland but also beyond its borders.
