The movie company Look Out Point, which is engaged in the production of British historical drama, has announced that the second season of the project "The Living and the Dead" is planned to be shown by the summer of 2017.

A married couple had long dreamed of getting away from prying eyes and noise, but they had not been given the opportunity until they inherited an ancient mansion. The plot is located in the wild forests with impassable swamps nearby. However, it did not upset them at all. The husband and wife are absolutely sure that if they work together, they will soon improve the uncomfortable house and be able to move in. And that's what they did. But the joy was premature. At first, the poor couple started having terrifying dreams, and then the nightmares began to haunt them in reality. The frightened Epldi family thinks that spirits from the world of the dead are trying to make contact with them. The kids spend all their time in a unequal struggle with supernatural forces. Trying to understand the situation, Charlotte and Newton did not realize how close they were to divorce.

The main roles are played by Colin Morgan, who starred in the full-length films "Legend" and "Snow White and the Huntsman 2", Charlotte Spencer, a star of the films "Dark Shadows" and "Les Misérables", Kerry Hayes, who appeared in the TV series "Shameless" and "Black Mirror", and other artists.

The premiere took place on June 28, 2016. A total of 6 episodes were filmed. The main characters fulfilled their cherished dream and moved to a huge apartment, where their life turns into a real horror. The young lovers start arguing and consider getting divorced.
