A British historical thriller, created based on the novel by Jessie Burton. The director and screenwriter is John Brownlow. The project is planned to have three episodes. The main roles are played by Lucas Bond, Lara Bond, Ziggy Hitt, Helly Squires, and Sally Messam.

1686. In the mansion of wealthy merchant Johannes Brandt, his wife Nella Ortman appears. A young and naive village girl has arrived from a remote village to the world of the huge Amsterdam, which welcomes her with its temptations and dangers. Full of dreams and hopes, the girl does not suspect that an early marriage awaits her. Soon, instead of Johannes, she will have to meet his elder sister. She has a cold character and treats the girl with distrust. Brandt presents his wife with a miniature copy of their huge house. As instructed, she should redecorate the building with the help of an invited miniaturist. Gradually, the girl realizes that something strange is happening in the house. From the very beginning of her visit, her husband and sister carefully hide some secret. But the time has come to reveal all the cards. Nella notices that the scaled-down copy of the house starts living its own life. She is being prepared for a trial - but for what? What secrets do the walls of this strange building from the Victorian era hide? Soon, Ortman will have to learn the terrifying details about one of the richest families of Amsterdam.
