The Resident Season 2

Antoine Fuqua, the producer of the foreign drama TV series "The Resident", has announced that the premiere of the 2nd season is planned for early 2019.

The final series is expected to be released on the TV channel "FOX" in March 2018. The central figure of the narrative becomes a young man named Devin Pravesh, who comes to work in a prestigious medical institution.

The main character has idealistic views on life and is confident in his own abilities. He has no doubt that a bright future and a brilliant career await him. The young man is determined to work hard to prove to his employers that they chose him for a reason. However, he is not willing to blindly obey the orders of his superiors, especially when he knows he is right. His stubborn character causes the intern numerous problems. Barely starting to fulfill his duties, the main character clashes with the department head - the uncompromising and extraordinary Dr. Conrad Hawkins. The man does not tolerate advice from others and considers himself always right. Colleagues acknowledge his authority and admire his exceptional abilities, but they cannot stand the doctor's rude behavior. Despite their disagreements, the young man dreams of learning from a wiser and more experienced specialist.

The images of key characters were skillfully brought to life on the screens: Matt Czuchry, who starred in the films "Against the Current" and "Spider's Attack", Emily VanCamp, the star of the films "Carriers" and "The Black Irishman", Elizabeth Ludlow, who appeared in the series "The Walking Dead" and "Stop and Burn", and other artists.

The premiere will start in January 2018. 11 episodes are prepared for broadcasting. The idealistic doctor works under the guidance of an egocentric mentor, realizing that he has been lucky to meet a true genius.
