In autumn 2021, a new trailer for the fantasy series "The Witcher" was shown for the first time in Italy. This happened at the "Lucca Comics & Games" festival. It caused a real sensation and intrigued with its plot twists.
The audience will be able to see the second episode of the second season on December 17, 2021. This was announced by the respected director Charlotte Brandstrom.
In the TV show, the story is about a brave warrior who travels across the vast lands of the Continent. He performs difficult tasks for little pay and fights monsters.
Plot
The action takes place in a fictional kingdom. The northern and southern parts never stop fighting for leadership positions and sacrificing pawns in this uncompromising game. The medieval hunter of various monsters continues to wander the world in search of answers. He is accompanied by the desperate chosen one Yennefer and the daring princess of Cintra. They try to avoid political conspiracies, but they are not successful.
Episode 2 of Season 2 Preview
The key events that will be discussed in the episode titled "Kaer Morhen" will unfold in the eponymous fortress. It carefully guards other people's secrets. The Witcher and Ciri go there together. The man hopes to protect her from unnecessary turmoil, save her from the enemy army, and teach her the complex craft. In the mysterious location, the travelers will have an unexpected meeting with the wise teacher Vesemir. The mentor will introduce them to hardworking colleagues, including Eskel. Tragic consequences are inevitable.
Filming
Despite the fact that the filming crew was incredibly excited to shoot in Hungary, it was deemed necessary to also shoot in other locations. Great Britain was chosen as the locations. The talented cinematographer, Bo de Mayo, contributed to the writing of an interesting script.
Actors
The casting service employees brilliantly performed their duties and assembled an impressive cast.
Henry Cavill, known to the general public for his roles in "Enola Holmes" and "Sand Castle," perfectly handled the role of the brave hunter.
Imon Farron, who was noticed in the film "Lingua Franca," will return to the role of Carig.
Anna Shaffer, who appeared in the comedy "Caught," will continue to play Triss.
Messiah Simpson, who participated in the TV show "Brave New World," got the role of Francesca.
