Police officer Jim Worth gets promoted. But in order to do so, he needs to move from foggy London to a provincial town near the Rocky Mountains. He takes his family with him and moves to the oil refinery town. He becomes the head of the local police department. The new sheriff immediately notices that the town is literally overwhelmed by sudden crime - drug trafficking, robberies, murders. After some time, it becomes clear that the wave of lawlessness was provoked by illegal immigrants who have flooded the Rocky Mountains. Jim tries to counteract organized crime with his authority. However, he realizes that he has taken too risky of a step, as the mafia has firmly established itself and does not tolerate the police who want to shut down their business. Jim's and his family's lives gradually turn into a nightmare. Constant threats towards his wife and children, as well as the sheriff himself. However, the new police chief is not so simple either. His past allows him to use harsh methods that even seasoned criminals are not prepared for. The war between lawlessness and the law begins right now.
