Tyrant release date
Since June 24, 2014, the first season of the TV show "Tyrant" has been airing on the American cable channel FX. The show is created based on the idea of Gideon Raff.
The script tells the story of the life of pediatrician Barry Al-Fayeed. In Los Angeles, the main character has been living a calm and measured life for over twenty years, and no one around him even suspects his secret. Barry is the son of the head of the fictional Islamic state of Abuddin, according to the script. But the moment comes when he has to return to his homeland to support his nephew at his wedding. Al-Fayeed goes to the country from which he ran away at the age of 16, seeing his father's senseless deeds as a tyrant, directed against his own citizens. For many years, the controlled people have been living in fear and poverty, and the "great" ruler believes that the ungrateful residents of Abuddin owe him everything. Coming only to support his nephew, the American pediatrician is once again immersed in the atmosphere of his father's dictator life: torture, executions, and antisocial acts. Soon he witnesses the abuses against people that compel him to start taking action...
