The series "Univer. Novaya obshaga" continues the story of the sitcom "Univer". The main characters Kuzya and Anton have stayed for a second year due to poor performance, while their friend Michael decided to avoid military service by working as a graduate student at their hometown university. The boys' place of residence is moved to a new dormitory building, where they will encounter various encounters with the opposite sex.

Since its premiere in 2011, a total of 200 episodes of the project have been released. Each episode has an average duration of 25 minutes and airs from Monday to Thursday at 8 PM.
