Unsolved Season 2

Expected release date of the second season of the series "Unsolved" - the beginning of 2019. The director of this project is Anthony Hemingway ("Shameless", "American Crime Story"), one of the leading screenwriters is Kyle Long ("Suits").

The popular TV channel USA Network has announced a multi-series project called "Unsolved". The series is based on events that took place in 1996 and tells the story of the investigation into the deaths of famous rappers known as 2Pac and Notorious B.I.G.

What will happen in Season 2

The series "Unsolved" is based on the documentary novel "Murder Rap" written by detective Greg Kading from the City of Angels, who investigated the murders of rap and hip-hop stars Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls. They were rival opponents and fell during the tragic "East Coast-West Coast war". Tupac was the first to use a diss (an insult in a song) against Smalls. The confrontation between the music clans led to a sad outcome: Shakur was shot from a car in 1996, and Biggie – a year later in the same way. The series clearly and chronologically tells the story of the rappers' struggle, as well as the investigation of the crimes. It is frightening that the names of the real killers are still unknown.

The role of Tupac will be played by Mark Rрse ("Straight Outta Compton"), while Biggie Smalls will be played by the modern rapper Woоvу Joения. In the pilot episode, the role of the investigator will be played by actor Josh Duhamel ("11.22.63"), and the series also includes Bokeem Woodbine (TV series "Fargo") and Jimmy Simpson (TV series "House of Cards").

The first season of the project consisted of 10 episodes, which premiered in January 2018. The series' storyline depicts the feud between rappers Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls, and also immerses the viewer in the atmosphere of urban American streets and authentic rap music.
