Season 9 Episode 1 Announcement
The story revolves around a brave and resolutely-minded law enforcement officer who suddenly discovers that a terrible threat of total destruction has befallen the planet. The blame for this lies with the dead creatures who have taken over not only the native city, but also the neighboring districts. People try to hide from them in tightly bolted houses, and they even have no qualms about occupying other people's residential spaces. This also happened to the family of an African American man who broke into Rick's apartment hoping to escape from zombies and is not willing to let even the owner of the living space inside. After the surviving people identified all the problems and reached a reasonable compromise, they became almost friends. Giving his comrade reliable advice on where to take cover, Grimes sets off to an unfamiliar town in order to find his chosen one. Along the way, he manages to overcome many blood-sucking beings and also gain enemies among the citizens who do not want to peacefully coexist with a guy who possesses leadership qualities.
The following actors are involved in the main roles: Andrew Lincoln, who has participated in the films "Aim for the Moon" and "Made in Dagenham," Alanna Masterson, who appeared in the TV shows "Men at Work" and "Mistresses," Chandler Riggs, known to viewers for his work in "Hack" and "Bury Me Alive," and some others.
The premiere started on October 31, 2010. 115 episodes have been filmed. The main character overcomes difficult obstacles, hoping that eventually peace will be restored on Earth.
