The psychological thriller "Wayward Pines" will conclude with its second season on July 27, 2016, garnering more and more fans of the adaptation of the world-famous novel "Pines" by Blake Crouch.
The third season of an exciting story will be released in mid-2017, the creators of the series, director Zal Batmanglij and the TV channel FOX, have not yet announced a specific date.
What will happen in the second season
The main action of the series takes place in the secretive town of Wayward Pines. One of the most professional FBI agents, Ethan Burke, is tasked with finding two recently missing police officers who left no trace behind. Arriving on the scene, the federal agent discovers that it is impossible to obtain any useful information from the locals. They all behave discreetly, do not smile, and do not interact with each other in his presence. Soon after the start of the investigation, Ethan realizes that the town is gradually involving him in its secrets and he can no longer escape from it. In the next season, Agent Burke will continue to uncover the ominous secrets of Wayward Pines and search for any way out.
