Zoo release date

Since June 30, 2015, a new science fiction TV series called "Zoo" has been aired on CBS. The show's plot is based on the novel of the same name written by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge, which was released in 2012.

The events of the TV show revolve around a renowned zoologist, Jackson Oz, who wants to challenge commonly accepted facts about animals through his research. His scientific work was developed during an expedition to Africa to observe our smaller brothers. Jackson's theory suggests the existence of collective consciousness among all earthly creatures. Initially, nobody believes in his idea until a real animal uprising begins on the planet. After animals start communicating with each other remotely, a war between humans and other living beings breaks out on the territory of six continents. Once tamed and predictable creatures that brought benefits become enemies of humanity. The only way to stop this uprising is to understand their motives and establish communication. This is what the famous zoologist, Oz, will be involved in. Several scientists study this phenomenon and come to the conclusion that DNA mutation of almost all animals on Earth is caused by a so-called "mother" cell. By introducing the jointly developed antidote, the behavior of the subjects normalizes, and they no longer show aggression towards human beings.
