SHOWTIME had been nurturing the idea of creating a TV project since 2013, but it was only three years later that the show went into development. In 2018, it was announced that the premiere season would consist of 10 episodes.

The dark-skinned guy sincerely hopes to find a job worthy of attention and earn the respect of his colleagues. The hero dreams of proving to his headstrong lover that he can move mountains when necessary. The eccentric beauty doesn't believe in the modest worker, but hopes for luck. The young man boldly heads to Wall Street, known for its skilled bond traders. Due to a foolish mishap, the key character gets into a fight with an arrogant employee of the finance firm. The arrogant man knows how to anticipate situations and definitely knows when to sell stocks. He leads a carefree lifestyle and doesn't hesitate to express his opinion. The haughty broker doesn't forgive the inexperienced newcomer for a senseless mistake and assures him that he won't last long in the team. They make a bet and he wins it. The incorrigible adventurer shows the new employee how unprepared he is for extreme situations. Soon, they have to unite in order to make a huge fortune. The ambitious guys don't suspect that in the fall of 1977, the stock market will suddenly crash, destroying millions of lives.
