The second part of the popular series "Chernobyl: Exclusion Zone" was released after three long years. The broadcasting place has changed: TNT decided not to show mysticism and fantasy anymore, so they transferred the project to the TV-3 channel. But this did not discourage true fans of the show, as the ratings for the continuation of the mystical drama, filmed according to Ilya Kulikov's scripts, fell insignificantly. The fourth episode concludes the first week of the show and serves as a kind of midpoint of the season. After the guys managed to return to the year 1986, they head to the main goal - the Nuclear Power Plant in the city of Maryland. Since they ended up on a deserted road after the teleportation, they will have to hitchhike to get to the city. In the car that stopped to help, they find Michael Ogden, a hereditary exorcist and a Catholic priest at the same time. He is going practically to the location of the object in the future Exclusion Zone, but he has a couple of personal matters to resolve along the way. In order to get there faster, Pasha Vershinin and his friends offer to help Michael. The exorcist was called by a family whose young boy was possessed by Satan. Will the guys be able to free the soul from evil and continue their journey into the heart of the upcoming disaster? Watch in the next episode of CEZ on TV-3 on Friday evening.
Most of the actors in this series are recent graduates of the Shchepkin theatrical schools (Valeria Dmitrieva), Shchukin (Kostya Davidov, Kristina Kazinskaya), VGIK (Sergei Romanovich), and others. Thanks to the casting of young artists, the show's plot has captured viewers in the segment up to 25 years old.
The TV series "Chernobyl: Exclusion Zone" started in autumn 2014. There will be a total of 16 episodes in the first and second seasons. The series was filmed by the Swedish film director Anders Bank.
