Not long ago, the NTV TV channel presented the dramatic TV series "A Stranger's Face" directed by Grigory Zhiharevich. The series was produced by Victor Budilov and Dmitry Kuzmin. The main roles were played by Alexey Kravchenko and Anton Mamont.

Egor Kotov devoted his life to catching criminals in Solovetsk. For many years, he gained the respect of his colleagues and friends. The investigator astonishes others with his ability to track down criminals, uncover hidden motives of bandits. At the same time, very few people know about his past, he conceals his true nature as his previous life may disappoint others. The thing is, Egor used to have a wife and a son, Denis, but he cut all ties with his family and is now completely uninterested in their lives. Kotov doesn't even suspect that his adult son has chosen a profession similar to his own - he is a secret agent who, like Egor, deals with criminal investigations. The only difference is that Denis works exclusively undercover. One day, fate brings the relatives together in a very unexpected way. Egor starts to pursue a dangerous criminal organization that terrifies the whole city. Kotov manages to arrest all the members of the group, one of whom seems very familiar to the investigator. The main characters are yet to find out how much their lives will change after this encounter.
